Stephen is a qualified UK accountant with 10 years of experience in both practice and Industry. Before moving to Canada he was the Financial Director for one of the UK’s largest online drinks retailers, helping them quadruple their revenue in his four years as a company director.
Since moving to Canada Stephen has worked as a senior accountant for a boutique Canadian and US cross-border accounting firm, where he has gained extensive experience in all aspects of Canadian accounting requirements.
With first-hand experience in building accounting departments at scale and a love for technology, Stephen understands how to build robust, hassle-free finance systems that let business owners focus on growth rather than financial compliance.
Stephen’s career is characterized by a cross-disciplinary skill set that has seen him be heavily involved in the practical aspects of ecommerce logistics, robotics, software road mapping, and ERP system design and implementation. This breadth of experience allows him to offer meaningful advice above and beyond producing financial reports and models alone.
