Below is a list of all the services which are included as standard in our monthly Edmonton bookkeeping service. We can provide additional services not included in this table, but they would require a custom quote. We also provide indicative pricing based on the average number of monthly bank transactions for your business (this includes all bank accounts and credit cards in the business name). - Timely financial information. One of our core goals is to complete your books and Financial Reports within 30 days of the month closing. We can also complete the month end close in less than 30 days if you need information sooner than this (as an additional premium service)
- 1 custom report per annum. It’s very likely that at some point in the year you’ll need to do a detailed analysis on some aspect of your business. This could be a simple cashflow, CAPEX decision or a basic financial model. There is built in consultation time to cover this – so you don’t have to worry about additional costs. This is intended to cover one off tasks that would take a senior accountant several hours. - Payroll on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, with employee and CRA payments fully automated and managed by Plyo Bookkeeping (This is a separate service add on – see our payroll page
- GST/HST/PST compliance. As part of our Edmonton bookkeeping service, we’ll make sure you claim as much input GST back as possible, along with filing the returns for you
- Custom solutions to more complex situations. We’ve had clients who’ve built their own ERP systems, and we’ve helped them integrate their system with off the shelf cloud based accounting systems. We’ve worked on numerous IT projects, providing guidance and advice to developers on how to build out the financial reporting and integration aspects of their software.
How We Deliver – Edmonton Bookkeeping Services
As soon as you sign an engagement letter, we’ll commence your onboarding. You’ll be given access to a secure portal, where all of the information requests will be centralized. You can expect plenty of communication during the onboarding phase, while we get everything setup and learn the ins and outs of your business. Once your onboarding is complete, we’ll prepare your books on a monthly basis. We’ll post any queries we have to our client portal, and you’ll receive a weekly reminder if there are any unanswered queries preventing us from finishing the books. Once the books are complete, we’ll issue your monthly financial reports.
About Our Quoting Process
We quote for our Edmonton bookkeeping service on a fixed monthly fee basis, which helps our clients know exactly how much they’ll be spending ahead of time. We always start with a discovery call, where we scope out the exact services that you’ll need. We then request temporary access to your accounting system so that we can determine the amount of transactions and work required. We’ll then email you a quote, which will contain a detailed breakdown of how we would run your finance system and the services included.
